Proteasome activity assay

Proteasome activity was determined by Proteasome-Glo™ Chymotrypsin-Like Cell-Based Assay kit (Promega, G8661). Briefly, cells (6,000 per well) were plated in 96-well plates. After 24 h, cells were treated with the chemical agents as indicated in the figure legends. Equal volumes of Proteasome-Glo reagent were then added and the luminescence signal was measured using a microplate reader (F200/M200, TECAN).
