Neuroimaging data were downloaded through the 1000 Functional Connectomes Project.* The data were acquired as part of the Enhanced Rockland Sample Multiband Imaging Test-Retest Pilot Dataset, uploaded by the Nathan Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research† (Nooner et al., 2012). A total of 31 volunteer datasets of 32 total datasets were used for this study. One dataset was excluded after becoming corrupted during automated co-registration. Volunteers were 44 ± 18 years old, with 21 women and 10 men. Thirty volunteers were right-handed; one had no preference.
Whole brain images were acquired on a 3T Siemens Magnetome TriTom (multiband echo planar imaging [EPI]; repetition time [TR] 645 msec; echo time [TE] 30 msec; 40 slices; field of view [FOV] 22.2 × 22.2 cm; 3 mm isotropic voxels; 900 images). A 32-channel anterior/posterior head coil facilitated multiband EPI imaging at high temporal resolution. An MPRAGE scan was acquired to facilitate alignment (TR 1900 msec; TE 2.52 msec; 176 slices; FOV 25 × 25 cm; 1 mm isotropic voxels).
