5-Methoxypsoralen (≥ 95% by HPLC), MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide), and dimethyl sulfoxide were obtained from Sigma-Aldrich Chemical Co. (St. Louis, MO, USA). Acridine orange and propidium iodide were procured from Wuhan Boster Biological Technology Ltd. (Wuhan, China). Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium and RPMI-1640 medium were obtained from Gibco Life Technologies (Grand Island, NY, USA). Heat-inactivated fetal calf serum, penicillin, and streptomycin were obtained from Thomas Scientific, High Hill Road, Swedesboro, U.S.A.
