The Human Epithelial to Mesenchymal Transition (EMT) RT2 Profiler™ PCR Array was used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and profiles the expression of 84 key genes that either change their expression during this process or regulate those gene expression changes. The array includes cell surface receptor, extracellular matrix, and cytoskeletal genes mediating cell adhesion, migration, motility, and morphogenesis; genes controlling cell differentiation, development, growth, and proliferation; as well as signal transduction and transcription factor genes that cause EMT and all of its associated processes.
