Mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) assay

Cells were digested by 0.25% EDTA-trypsin (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc.) for 5 min at 37°C and stained with JC-1 solution (MedChemExpress) for 20 min at 37°C. Then, cells were centrifuged at 800 × g for 2 min at 4°C. Cells were collected and the MMP was investigated using a flow cytometer.
