Differences in proportions of zebrafish embryos with convergent extension defects between groups were examined with Pearson’s χ2 test or Fisher’s exact test. Independent samples t-test was used to identify the difference in expression of mRNA or protein between groups. Statistical analyses were conducted using SPSS 20.0. A two-tailed P-value of <0.05 was considered statistical significance.
