All the data were presented as mean ± standard deviation. Differences between two groups or multiple groups were analyzed by Student’s t-test and ANOVA, respectively. Pearson’s X2 test was used to examine the relationships between METTL3 expression levels and clinicopathological characteristics. Kaplan-Meier analysis and log-rank test were used to evaluate the differences in patient survival. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were generated to evaluate the diagnostic value. Statistical analyses were performed using the SPSS software package ver20.0 (SPSS, Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) and GraphPad Prism 7.0 (GraphPad Software, La Jolla, CA, USA). Data were considered statistically significant as follows: *p-value< 0.05, **p-value< 0.01, ***p-value< 0.001 and ****p-value< 0.0001.
