The four human CRC cell lines HCT116, LoVo, HT29, and SW480 were purchased from the Cell Bank of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai, China). HCT116 cells and HT29 cells were grown in McCOY’s 5A medium, LoVo cells were grown in F12K medium, and SW480 cells were grown in L-15 medium (Gibco, Carlsbad, CA, United States) containing 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) (Gibco), and cells were incubated at 37°C with 5% CO2.
