2.3. Cell Viability Assay

MTT assay was used to measure cell viability according to a previous report [7]. For cell viability study, neurons were plated in 96-well plates (2 × 10⁵ cells per well). MTT solution was added into the culture media with a final concentration of 10% in each well. After incubation for 4 h (37°C), 100 μl of dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) was added to each well for another 15 min. Then, the absorbance values were determined with a microplate reader (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA) at 570 nm.
