We performed mouse xenograft in tumor models, in which NIH3T6.7 cells (107 cells in 50 μL of saline per animal) were implanted in the proximal thigh region of BALB/c-nude mice (4–5 weeks of age) [7,11,45]. Then, the MR imaging was performed using 5 mice 4 weeks after the tumor cell transplantation. All animal experiments were conducted with the approval of the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) International.
