DL helps filter out “drug-like" compounds in the traditional Chinese herbs, as DL is a qualitative concept used in drug design for an estimate on how “drug-like” a prospective compound is [27]. Compounds with high DL values are more likely to have certain biological properties that can increase the possibility for drug treatment. The calculation of DL value is based on Tanimoto coefficient formula in TCMSP database [28].
