The compounds 12 to 28 are obtained by coupling the 6-(pyridin-2-yl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-2-carboxylic acid with the appropriate aromatic amines according to the procedures described in Refs. [4], [6].

N-2,5-difluorophenyl-6-(pyrid-2-yl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-2-carboxamide (cpd 16) [5].
