OS cell lines, MG-63 (#TCHu124), SW1353 (#TCHu128), U2OS (#TCHu88), and UMR-106 (#TCR11) as well as the osteoblast cell line, hFOB1.19 (#GNHu14) were purchased from Cell Bank of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai, China). Cells were cultured in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s Medium (DMEM) (HyClone) containing 10% foetal bovine serum (Gibco, Grand Island, NY, USA) in a constant temperature incubator at 37 °C and 5% CO2. Cells were passaged at the ratio of 1:3 at 90% confluence.
