Cell proliferation assay with Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8)

Cells (3 × 103/well, 6 wells) were seeded in 96-well plates in quadruplicate. The CCK-8 reagent was added to four 96-well plates after incubations for 4, 24, 48, or 72 h. After 2 h of incubation with the CCK-8 reagent, the absorbance was measured at 450 nm using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay plate reader. The assay was performed in triplicate.
