Porcine kidney (PK-15) cells were purchased from National Platform of Experimental Cell Resources for Sci-Tech (Beijing, China) and cultured in Dulbecco's modified Eagle medium (DMEM, HyClone, China) supplemented with 10% heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum (FBS, Gibco, USA), 100 units/mL penicillin and 100 μg/mL streptomycin (Invitrogen), and incubated at 37°C in a humidified 5% CO2 atmosphere.
