Fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) were prepared as described by AOCS Official Method Ch 1-91 (1998). FAME analysis was performed by gas chromatography (TGF 2552, Iran) equipped with flame ionization detector and capillary column (CP-Sil 88, 100 m length, 0.25 mm i.d., film thickness 0.25 µm). The column temperature was set at 80 °C for 4 min and ramped at 3 °C/min to 240 °C. The injection and detector temperatures were maintained at 225 and 250 °C respectively. Hydrogen with a flow rate of 1.20 mL/min was used as carrier gas. The FAs were identified by comparing the relative retention times of the sample peaks with Supelco 37 component FAME mix2 (Bellefonte, PA, USA).
