CETSA was performed as described46. Each sample was suspended in PBS supplemented with protease inhibitors after they had been washed in PBS. Samples were at 53 °C for 3 min, incubated at room temperature for 3 min, and then snap-frozen in liquid nitrogen. Samples were freeze-thawed twice and centrifuged at 20,000 g for 20 min at +4 °C and supernatants analyzed by immunoblotting.
