Flow cytometry analysis of apoptosis

Cells were seeded in a six-well plate (2×105/well) and treated with carboplatin (200 µg/mL or 400 µg/mL) for 24 hours. Then, cells were harvested for analysis of apoptosis using Annexin V-propidium iodide apoptosis detection kit (BD Biosciences, Franklin Lakes, NJ, USA) according to the instructions. The cell apoptotic rate was detected by BD LSR II flow cytometry (BD Biosciences).
