Cells derived from OCI-AML1 clones were seeded in a multiwell plate and cultured in complete IMDM in the absence or presence of 20, 100, and 200 µmol/l AZT for up to 12 days. Media and AZT were refreshed every 2 days in the cell culture. At 4, 8, and 12 days after treatment, aliquots of cells were stained with 0.4% Trypan Blue and counted to quantify total numbers and the percentages of live cells.
