SPSS 19.0 statistical software (IBM Corp., Armonk, NY, USA) and GraphPad Prism 5.0 software (GraphPad Software, Inc., La Jolla, CA, USA) were used for all statistical analyses. The χ2 test was used for comparisons between groups, while Cox regression analysis was performed for univariate and multivariate survival analyses. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to plot the survival curves followed by a log-rank test. P<0.05 was considered to indicate a statistically significant difference.
