ELISA measurement of IL-6 and TNF-α in ileal tissues

Harvested ileal tissues were cut into small pieces and homogenized in pre-cooled PBS containing proteinase inhibitors (BioSharp, Hefei, China). The supernatant of the homogenate was collected and ELISA was performed to measure the concentrations of IL-6 and TNF-α according to the manufacturer's protocol. All samples were tested in duplicate.
