Normal liver cell lines HL-7702, HCC, and liver cancer cell lines HepG2 and SMMC-7721 were purchased from the ATCC company (USA). All the cells were cultured in DMEM medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS; Thermo Fisher Scientific, USA). The cells were kept in the humidified incubator at 37°C with 5% CO2. Polydatin was purchased from Sigma (USA).
