In vivo antitumor efficacy of DOX@SUR nanoparticles

MCF-7/ADR tumor-bearing nude mice were intravenously administered saline, blank SUR nanoparticles, free DOX or DOX@SUR nanoparticles at a DOX dose of 5 mg/kg on day 1, 5 and 9. Tumor sizes were monitored with a digital caliper every day and calculated based on the formula: (L×W2)/2, where L and W are the length and width of the tumor, respectively. On day 12, the mice were sacrificed, and the major organs were excised, fixed and sliced for H&E staining.
