Cells were seeded at a density of 2×105 cells per ml and rested for 4 h. After treatment with G-CSF and/or XMD8-92 or PD184352 for 48 h. The apoptosis analysis was performed using Annexin V-FITC Apoptosis Detection Kit (Abcam, Cambridge, UK), according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Flow cytometry was performed on a FACScalibur equipped with CellQuest Pro software (BD systems). FlowJo software (Version7.6.1, Treestar, Ashland, OR, USA) was used for subsequent analysis.
