Beads were homogeneously suspended in gel phantoms by mixing beads with warm (55°C) agarose in water (1 mL, 0.5% [vol/vol]) in 2.5-mL round-bottom plastic vials. The mean attenuation values for three sets of radiopaque DEB phantoms at five bead volumes (0.78%–12.5% [vol/vol]) were measured by using a 16-section CT (Brilliance; Philips, Andover, Mass) at 90 kVp.
