DMOG was freshly resuspended at 10 µM in water containing 5 µM [U-13C,15N]-Valine as an internal standard, and 10 µL aliquots were removed every 25 minutes and analysed by LC-MS to monitor conversion to MOG and NOG. Sample temperature was maintained at 25 °C throughout the run in a thermostated autosampler.
