Assays were performed in duplicate using multiplex bead-based kits (#PPX-04-MXWCMFJ) for the indicated human cytokines per manufacturers’ instructions (eBioscience). Fluorescence of beads was measured using a Luminex Bioplex 200 analyzer (Bio-Rad). Cytokine data analysis was performed using the BioPlex Manager software (BioHercules, CA) based on a 5-parametric logistic nonlinear regression curve-fitting algorithm.
