Quantitative PCR with reverse transcription

RNA was extracted using the RNeasy Mini Kit (Qiagen), and the reverse transcription (RT) reaction was performed using High Capacity cDNA Reverse Transcription Kit (Applied Biosystems). After mixing the resultant template with primers (Supplementary Table 2, Integrated DNA Technologies) and with SYBR green PCR master mix (Applied Biosystems), PCR was performed with 7300 Real Time PCR System (Applied Biosystems).
