In patients who receive intravenous iron as part of normal clinical practice at that hospital:

Patients who have consented for blood sampling (ie, additional core blood samples) before and after intravenous iron

Patients who have consented for blood sampling and in addition in whom a functional exercise assessment is performed (CPET or 6MWT) before and after intravenous iron

Patients who have consented for blood sampling and in addition in whom a total haemoglobin mass (tHbmass) test is performed before and after intravenous iron
