Anti-nitrotyrosine (catalog no. 06–284) was from EMD Millipore (Billerica, MA). Avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex immunohistochemistry kits and 3,3-diaminobenzidine staining kits were from Vector Laboratories (Burlingame, CA).
