Cell viability was determined using CellTiter 96 Aqueous One Solution Cell Proliferation Assay according to manufacturers protocol. Briefly, cells were seeded in flat bottom 96-well plates and allowed to adhere overnight. The next day, cells were treated with the indicated drugs for indicated time period. Following treatments, cells were incubated with MTS dye (20 μl/well) for 2 h. Absorbance was determined at 490nm using an EL800 microplate reader (BioTek, Winooski, VT). The percent cell viability was calculated by converting the experimental absorbance to percentage of control and plotted vs drug concentration. The values were then analyzed using a nonlinear dose-response analysis in GraphPad Prism.
