MCF-7 and MCF-7/ADR cells were treated with apigenin (0–80 µM) or nicardipine (positive control, 12.5 µM) for 24 h and incubated for another 1 h with 1 µg/ml of rhodamine 123. Accumulation of rhodamine 123 in the cells was analyzed by flow cytometry.
