The phospho-histone H3 immunofluorescence assay was performed as previously described [49] with primary anti-phoshpo-histone H3 (Cell Signaling #3377) and secondary Alexa Fluor 594 conjugated anti-rabbit (Life Technologies #A-11037) antibodies. Nuclei were stained with 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI). Images were acquired using a Nikon Eclipse Ti microscope with NIS Elements imaging software (Nikon, Melville, NY).
