VLDL secretion rate in vivo was measured as previously described67. Briefly, mice were injected with triton WR1339 (500 mg kg–1 in saline) via tail vein following a 16 h fasting. Blood samples were drawn at 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 h after the injection for TG assays.
