Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis

Individual components, PTX free and lyophilized nanoparticles were analyzed on a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC 1, Mettler Toledo, Switzerland). In brief, 8 ~ 10 mg of dried sample was transferred into an aluminum pan (40 µL), and an empty standard aluminum pan (40 µL) was used as a reference. DSC analysis was performed by heating the sample from 0 °C to 300 °C at a heating rate of 10 °C/min while flushing with nitrogen at 50 mL/min. The thermograms of the samples were recorded.
