Prediction of target genes in P. falciparum

The Miranda algorithm26 and PITA algorithm27 were used to predict the target genes of hmiRNAs in P. falciparum. UTR data from the P. falciparum 3D7 strain in PlasmoDB release-27 were analyzed thoroughly. The prediction results are provided in Table 2 and Supplementary Table S5.
