Monolayers of Vero or Huh7.5 cells in 24-well plates were infected for 1 h with serial 10-fold dilutions of the culture medium harvested from YFV-infected cells with or without treatment, followed by overlay with medium containing 0.75% methylcellulose and incubation at 37°C for 3 to 5 days. Plaques were counted after crystal violet staining (47).
