Proteins were separated by SDS‐PAGE and transferred to nitrocellulose membranes (Bio‐Rad, Hercules, CA, USA), after which the membranes were blocked in PBS/Tween‐20 containing 5% non‐fat milk. Then the membranes were probed with primary antibodies against eIF3c (Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Santa Cruz, CA, USA) overnight at 4°C. Immune‐reactive bands were detected using SuperSignal West Femto Maximum Sensitivity Substrate (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA).
