Magnetic separation was performed according to manufacturer’s instructions (Dynabeads CD8 Positive Isolation Kit, Invitrogen Life Technologies). Bead-labeled cells were isolated using a DynaMagTM-15 magnet while non-labeled cells were removed by washing three times with 1 mL wash buffer (PBS with 2% FBS and 0.6% ACDA). Isolated cells were released from the magnet and re-suspended in wash buffer (100 µL/107 cells).
