The FITC Annexin V Apoptosis Detection Kit (BioLegend, Inc.) was used for Annexin V staining. MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with different concentrations of bazedoxifene and/or abemaciclib or DMSO alone for 24 h. Then, the cells were harvested and stained with Annexin V-FITC and PI according to the manufacturer's instructions. Cell apoptosis was determined using an ImageStreamX Mark II System. Data were analyzed using the IDEAS® 6.2 software.
