3H-thymidine incorporation assay was performed as previously described43. Cell viability was determined by Trypan Blue exclusion. To assess DNA synthesis, cells were exposed to 1 μCi/ml 3H-thymidne (Amersham Pharmacia Biotech, Korea) for 18 hours. Cells were harvested with Micro96 harvester (Skatron, Norway) and disintegrations per minute (DPM) counted by a β-counter (Packard Instrument Company, Meriden, CT).
