Genomic DNA was isolated from teach individual cyst samples. The germinal layers were crushed by the surgical blade and washed at least 5 times with 1X PBS solution in order to eliminate the traces of ethanol. Then the gDNA extraction kit (RTA Genomic DNA Isolation Kit from tissue, Turkey) protocol has been followed.
