GraphPad Prism version 8.4.2 and IBM SPSS Statistics 26 were used to analyze the data. A descriptive analysis was reported. The medians of HIV proviral load in different brain compartments were compared using a non-parametric Kruskal–Wallis test. The Shapiro–Wilk test and the group’s homoscedasticity were explored before the tests.
