Lung and plasma samples were analyzed to evaluate the levels of interleukin (IL)-10, IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits (DY410, DY406, DY417; R&D Systems Minneapolis, USA) according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
