WT and Akt2 KI mice at 4 and 10 months of age were dark adapted for 20 h and then were anesthetized with ketamine (50 mg/kg body weight) and xylazine (10 mg/kg body weight) and subjected to electroretinography to evaluate retinal function by estimating the scotopic a-, b- and c-wave responses using the Celeris Diagnosis System, USA23. Responses were measured at three different light intensities (0.01, 0.1, and 1 cd*s/m2)23.
