The morphological characteristics of the two optimized systems were evaluated by transmission electron microscope (Joel 1400, Tokyo, Japan). The micrographs were prepared by diluting one drop of spanlastic dispersion followed by adsorption on carbon-coated copper grids [41]. The excess dispersion was removed with a filter paper, and then, the sample was left to dry at room temperature for 10 min prior to microscopic visualization at 80 kv [42].
