Continuous variables were reported as the median and range, and compared using the Mann–Whitney–Wilcoxon test. Differences in the categorical variables were analyzed using the likelihood ratio test and Fisher’s exact test. These analyses were conducted at the Clinical Research Support Center of Asahi General Hospital. A two-sided
P
value of < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. All statistical analyses were performed using the JMP version 16.1.0 software (SAS Institute Japan, Tokyo, Japan).
