An Anton-Paar AMVn (Graz, Austria) rolling ball viscometer was used at a temperature of 10.0 °C. This low temperature was chosen so as to prevent the solvent (isopropanol) from evaporating due to its high volatility.
The viscosity measurement was carried out using solutions of 6.0 mg/mL concentration of TPA6 and TPA7 in isopropanol. The intrinsic viscosity values were then calculated with the Solomon-Ciuta equation69,70 (Eq. (2)).
