The AFS population of interest was men who were the acknowledged father of an unborn baby and who accessed public healthcare services. The study population was designed to be a representative sample of the wider Australian population of expectant fathers utilizing public healthcare services. Fathers were classified as ES fathers if they were native English speakers. Otherwise, they were classified as NES fathers.
