Use of macaques and the experimental procedures performed in this study were reviewed and approved by The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) at Bioqual Inc, Rockville, MA, USA and by the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, USA. Humane use of animals was performed according to the guidelines for the care and use of laboratory animals and with the rules formulated under the Animal Welfare Act by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in compliance with the Animal Research: Reporting of In Vivo Experiments (ARRIVE) guidelines.
